'Carpenter's Children - the story of City of London School'
by Thomas Hinde, was published in 1995 by Third Millennium.

Old Citizen W J Herbert, wrote this review:  An excellent history with all sorts of background detail about the Marlborough years. I was at the school then and this fills in so many things that I didn't know about then. Not a lot about the exciting - to us - return to London in the V1 and V2 era. I remember a botany lecture interrupted by a V2 falling on Smithfield market and being told, sternly, to get back to our desks as we rushed to the windows, we could go and look at the bodies, but not until the class ended!
