The 2011/12 school year marked the 25th anniversary of the opening of City of London School at Queen Victoria Street, and 175 years since the school opened at Milk Street. To celebrate this double anniversary, the School organised a 12 month programme of activities, including three receptions for different generations of Old Citizen.
At the three receptions in October, March and July Terry Heard, Old Citizen, former teacher and now archivist at the School, gave a brief talk about the history of the School as an introduction to the exhibition he prepared to mark the School's anniversary. Old Citizens were able to view the exhibition as well as have a guided tour of the School.
