CLS 25 year/175 year celebrations

The 2011/12 school year marks the 25th anniversary of the opening of City of London School at Queen Victoria Street, and 175 years since the school opened at Milk Street. To celebrate this double anniversary, the School is organising a 12 month programme of activities, which will include some events exclusively open to Old Citizens.

Click on one of the menu items left to learn more about the School's history and its prominent Old Citizens.

Events

- OC reception for 1960s and earlier leavers - Wed 19th October 2011
- JCC Anniversary Annual Dinner - Tues 14th February 2012
- OC reception for 1970s and 1980s leavers - Wed 28th March 2012
- CLS Anniversary Tate Modern Bursary Fundraising Dinner - Thurs 14th June 2012

At the three receptions in October, March and July Terry Heard, Old Citizen, former teacher and now archivist at the School, will give a brief talk about the history of the School as an introduction to the exhibition he has prepared to mark the School's anniversary. Old Citizens will be able to view the exhibition as well as have a guided tour of the School.

If you are unable to attend the reception relevant to your leaving date, you can come along to one of the others. Anyone wishing to attend any of the receptions should inform our Alumni Relations Officer.
